The Forgotten Child

Randomly working on some Inavesu (not so)side characters' design, because at some point I'll have to decide how they should look like D:

Meet princess Tanine (here probably in her 14), Vehnas little pet back to the time when, as a human, he dwelt at the court of Luske kingdom as counsellor for the king and teacher for his two sons and heirs.
Yes, you read well.
Teacher.
They had no idea.


Cute and shy, Tanine was afflicted by a severe form of stuttering, which precluded her from normal interactions with al the people around her.
Mistaking her speech difficulties with a general lack of wit, she was soon set aside by almost everyone, and basically treated like a dumb and clueless doll: she was deprived of any kind of education and also of her rightful heirdom as the King's daughter. She wasn't even allowed to attend formal events with the rest of her family.

No wonder that, under these circumstances, she soon became completely addicted to Vehnas presence.
A grown up man, who basically gave her all the kind of little attentions she always wished for and not even her father was willing to give her, that seemed to always understand her no matter what, and that, for once, didn't make her feel worthless as everyone else did.
He taught her how to read and write, instructed her on history, geography and all sort of subjects she wished to learn.
In few years, to everyone amazement, her stuttering was almost completely disappeared and she was finally recognized for the valid girl she had always been.
Alas, by that time, her devotion toward Vehnas had grown so much she barely allowed herself to breath without having his consent firs. At that point, she had lost all the means to recognize his inappropriate behaviours toward her. In any case, she probably wouldn't have cared at all.
