The Outcast II - Walkthrough

so ok, I don't know why but I'm going veeeery slow on this... that's why I decided to make another walkthrough with it, at least I have a reason to be slow XDD


First step: sketched with a 0,5 mechanical pencil, 2H lead. I didn't bother erasing any of the construction lines, as always, I will keep them and blend them with the shading. Also, I decided my light source and started blocking some of the main shadow areas.

Second step: more shadows added, this time using 2H and F wooden pencils.

Third step: and more shadows. this time working with a 2B mechanical pencil for details and a 2B wooden pencil for other dark areas

Fourth step: nothing new, just, more shadows and his scars, that's all I needed to add... here I went back using my 2H mechanical pencil together with the 2B one. I guess next step will be the last one o.o

Fifth step: basically, I finished the drawing with the last elements I wanted to put in

Last steps:erased at my best all the white areas and took a last scan. Desaturated everything (basically because my scanner sucks and will always make my graphite blue-ish). Added a sepia tone and applied what I already explained in my tutorial about textures [link]
