so, since I don't seem able to finish a damn thing lately I though I could as well post something unfinished °.°
..just because I like to indulge in my errors, and keep uploading things to my DA account even if I already know I can't cope with it...
this is a picture I started a couple of days ago and that I'm working on at a snail-worth speed >___>
no, maybe snails are faster than me...

another step added, working on the dark areas and tried to fix the arms problem.
changed with an animated .gif, no huge file anymore...

last update I suppose, next step should be the finished piece... if I manage to do that =__=

Overall Vision
Originality Technique
ImpactHi! I thought I'd try and give a critique of some sorts...
Vision: 5 stars because the poses and interactions/ reactions are priceless. You have a real knack for emotion.
Originality: 3 stars because it is a character portrait, but still really beautiful/ interesting. I do like how you put in the WIP so we can see how everything is unfolding.
Technique: 5 stars! I could never challenge the fact that you are amazing with pencil.
Impact: 4 1/2 because of the blood and, again, the poses. Very nice.
The only thing that kinda looked odd to me was his hands and the angle they are coming from. Granted, this is a WIP, so it is hard for me to really judge anything at this point. They just seemed like they were coming at a strange angle, and even were away from his body. Maybe 'thin' the bulk of his forearm a little...?
